Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

Thank you for choosing Elate for your personalized products. Please review our returns, exchanges, and cancellations policy below:

Cancellations: Once an order is placed, it cannot be edited or canceled due to the personalized nature of our products. However, if you have any questions or need to address any mistakes in your order, please contact us immediately at contact@shop-elate.com.

Returns & Refunds:

  • We understand that circumstances may arise where a refund is necessary. However, as our artists begin work on your order immediately after it is placed, we can only offer partial refunds for orders that have not yet been produced. In such cases, a deduction of $19 (the price of the digital design) will be applied to the full refund amount, as work has already commenced. In cases of such partial refunds, we will just deliver you your digital art and cancel the product (only if it has not entered production yet).
  • Once an order has been produced, refunds are not possible.
  • Digital products delivered via email are non-refundable.
  • Should you require a new design based on a different photo, a charge of $15 per new photo will be applied, as we will initiate a new drawing from scratch.
  • All refunds shall be processed within 7 business days and might take up to 5-7 additional business days to be credited by your bank. Please contact us if you have not received your credit. 

Damaged Products:

Even with our commitment of Quality checks, mistakes are bound to happen, and we will always be there to help you through it. 

  • If your order arrives damaged, we will gladly send a replacement at no additional cost. Simply provide us with photos of the damaged parts to be eligible for a replacement.
  • Please note that our refund policy is valid for 30 days from the delivery date. Refunds or exchanges cannot be processed after this period, even for damaged products.

Email Communications:

  • Our services require us to be in touch with you as soon as you place an order, hence we advice you to sign-up for our newsletter. This ensures that we have all consents necessary to reach you. 
  • To ensure smooth communication and timely processing of your order, please verify that the email provided with your order is correct and valid. Approval of the design is necessary for us to proceed with production.
  • As soon as you place your order, we suggest you to check your email for an order confirmation. (make sure it is not marked as spam, and try to mark it as "important" to make sure you receive all further communication.
  • If you do not receive any emails from us within 7 working days of purchasing, please check your spam folder. If there is no response within 48 working hours, please contact us using an alternative email address to prevent bounced emails and ensure timely communication.

Additional Information:

  • Delivery dates are estimates, and while we strive to meet them, we cannot guarantee specific delivery dates. We accept no responsibility for delays beyond our control, but we will inform you of any known delays.
  • We offer online proofing and unlimited revisions before shipment to ensure your satisfaction with the final product. Please ensure swift replies to get you your shipment as soon as possible :)
